| Dr. Mohammad has taught nationally and
internationally. He currently directs the geriatric dentistry
program at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, one
of the largest and most comprehensive programs of its kind. This
program has received the American Dental Association recognition
award for contribution to the advancement of the art and science
of geriatric oral health. Dr. Mohammad received the Ohio State
University faculty award for excellence in community-based
scholarship. He has published over 100 papers, monographs, books
and abstracts, and served as coeditor of the American Academy of
Oral medicine sponsored monograph “Clinician’s Guide to Oral
Health in the Geriatric Patient”, as a consultant expert in
geriatric dentistry on Netwellness.com, a web-based advisory
site to the public, and a vice president of the Oral Health
Section of the Gerontological Society of America. |

Carol graduated from the University of Kentucky
in 1977 and completed the Dental Assisting with Expanded Duties
program in 1979. Carol began her career in a general dental
practice (12 years) and then worked as a senior medical/dental
claims examiner. She brings 20 years of dental experience and is
a member of The American Dental Assistant Association and The
American Society for Geriatric Dentistry.
