Academic Sections

The College of Dentistry is divided into 8 sections – or academic units – and all major dental specialties are represented.

Most sections offer both patient care services and academic programs – including many advanced study programs where dentists train as specialists.

The section of oral biology focuses on research and a Ph.D. degree program, with no clinical component.
