Course Requirements

IMPORTANT

PHYSIOLOGY IS REQUIRED.
PHYSICS II IS NOT REQUIRED.

If a combined anatomy / physiology course is taken then 2 quarters or 2 semesters are necessary (to fulfill both the ANATOMY and PHYSIOLOGY requirements).

HOW MANY PREREQUISITES
DO I NEED TO COMPLETE BEFORE I APPLY?
You must complete 2/3rds of the prerequisite courses at the time your AADSAS application is submitted (9/13 semester courses or 10/14 quarter courses).  The more prerequisite courses you have completed successfully at the time your AADSAS application is submitted, the better.

HOW MANY HOURS DO I NEED TO APPLY ?
You need to complete a minimum of 90 quarter hours or 60 semester hours including prerequisite courses at an accredited four-year college or university.

DO ON-LINE PREREQUISITE COURSES COUNT?
Please contact the office of professional admissions at 614-292-9444.  They will be able to verify if the course will fulfill our requirements.

MAY I AUDIT PREREQUISITE COURSES?
No.  Prerequisite courses may not be audited.

WHAT GRADES DO I  NEED IN PRE-REQUISITE COURSES?
In order to be competitive, you should earn a "B" or better in the required courses. A "C" or better is required.
