DDS / PhD Program

Description
The DDS/PhD Program integrates graduate and clinical training,
allowing students to pursue a PhD in one of four areas --- oral
biology, neuroscience / psychobiology, biomedical engineering,
and, the Integrated Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program (IBSGP)
--- while enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Dentistry
DDS program.
The Oral Biology PhD Program
is specially adapted to the multidisciplinary nature of oral
health research, including basic and translational research
in microbiology, genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry,
immunology, epidemiology, and cell biology.

Training Grants Program
The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is one of only a handful
of institutions in the United States to hold a comprehensive National
Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) T32 Training
Grant. Such grants fund the training of students committed to long-term
careers in oral health research.
