Our Events ...
Autumn 2011
DENTPATH RECEPTION
The newest
members of our DENTPATH program are now on campus. Four
outstanding students were welcomed to their new home-away-
from-home at Postle Hall. A reception was hosted by the Office
of Admissions to honor and welcome them to campus.
Distinguished guests who stopped by to say hello included
Associate Dean Kalmar, numerous College faculty and the all
seven members of the 2011 DENTPATH class.
The 2012 DENTPATH
Class includes Laura Awadalla who is a buckeye from Youngstown
and a graduate of Youngstown State. Aklilu Ameha is also a
buckeye through and through, from Columbus and an OSU grad!
McKenzie Maynor is from the Detroit area and did go to the
University of Michigan, but she's a buckeye now and we'll take
her on our side any day. Enrique Melgoza hails from Southern
California, a Cal Riverside grad and a big USC fan. But he
wants to embrace everything that Ohio State has to offer
including some great football, as long as they don't play the
Trojans again. Please welcome these great students into our
family here at the Ohio State University College of
Dentistry.

Winter 2011
DDS BEE
On March 4th, our first annual DDS SPELLING BEE took place in
one of the lecture halls in Postle Hall.
All of the words in this spelling bee had a dental twist. A
total of 15 students participated representing all of the dental
classes and one dental hygiene class. This event was
sponsored by Admissions and the Sterilization Monitoring
Service. Our 2011 DDS BEE Champion is EMILY BOEHM, Class
of 2012. A great time was had by all !! How do

S'More Fun
On December 2nd, our second annual SMS-Admissions
S'More Fun event took place in the courtyard of Postle Hall.
This year Alumni & Development partnered with us and provided
hot chocolate. A great time was had by all !! Click

Autumn 2010
ASDA - SMS - Admissions Picnic
On September 29th, the second annual ASDA-SMS-Admissions Welcome
Picnic took place in the courtyard of Postle Hall. The
Class of 2014 students enjoyed a picnic dinner and competed in a
special Postle Amazing Race.

Summer 2010
Music in the Courtyard
This summer, Music in the Courtyard returned for its second
season. Sponsored by SMS and Admissions, this series of
three events was fun
for all who attended. Students, faculty, staff and
administration enjoyed ice cream treats while mingling in the
summer sun.

Our Admissions Committee is thrilled to have the assistance of
our COLLEGE OF DENTISTRY stars who serve as our ambassadors.
These incredible students volunteer their time to lend a hand
with our Saturday Admissions Events. Without the help of these
dedicated students, our Admissions Events would not be possible.

Our Location
As of August 2006, the Office of Admissions is
located on the ground floor – Room 0114. We
are located directly across from the Student Lounge and Student
Computer Lab. When visiting Postle Hall, please stop by to see
our wonderful space !!! Look for the fun wall art outside of our door…

Interview Events...
|

Our ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW EVENTS are held at
The
Blackwell Inn on The Ohio State University campus. In addition
to the interview, our events include a variety of activities
including walking tours of the College of Dentistry and the
Medical Center as well as a bus tour of the OSU campus.
Our scheduled ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW EVENT dates for
