Reapplicants

Each year approximately 90% of people who apply for the College of Dentistry are not offered a seat in the entering class.  We encourage anyone and everyone in this majority to follow their dreams and reapply.

An important thing to keep in mind is that our applicant pools become increasingly competitive with each year.  The entering class this year has the highest educational statistics in the history of our college.  The average scores for consideration increase each year (for average class statistics click here).  In order to become more competitive as a re-applicant there are several steps you must take.

Have you retaken the D.A.T.?

Have you increased your G.P.A. or
   started pursuing an advanced degree?

Have you completed at least 20 additional observation hours?

Have you requested an additional letter of recommendation?

These are just a few things that help improve the chances of admissions for a re-applicant.  Please check out the links below in order to see exactly what must be completed for all re-applicants and how to get the process going.
