Advanced Dental Education ProgramsThe Ohio State University College of Dentistry offers advanced training programs in 10 different fields, all centralized at a single location within the nation's most comprehensive health sciences center. An alternative five-year combined specialty/Ph.D. (dentistry/scientist) program also is available in many of these fields Some programs require pursuit of the Master of Science degree, while for others a certificate is offered and the master's degree is optional. It is the policy of the College of Dentistry to limit applicants to a single Advanced Dental Education Program per academic year. Applications submitted to more than one Program in a given year will not be accepted and may delay processing of the intended primary or initial Program application. Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS) applications are accepted by many but not all of these programs.
