There will be a two-day orientation program on Monday, August
19 and Tuesday, August 20, which includes a White Coat Ceremony on
Monday evening. Please wear professional attire on both days. Orientation is
required and students who do not attend will forfeit their place in the class.

The White Coat Ceremony is a ritual
in the College of Dentistry that marks the student's transition into the dental
This year's White Coat Ceremony will take place on Monday, August 19, 2013 at
7pm at Mershon Auditorium. Doors open to guests at 6pm. There is no limit to the
number of guests so we encourage family and friends to attend this special
event. Dessert reception to follow the ceremony.
White Coats are provided to all incoming students at this event and are provided
by the gracious support of the OSU Dental Alumni Society.

White coats will be long coats with a traditional collar and four-button front
closure; one breast pocket and two lower double pockets; two side-entry pockets
on the seam; 39" in length. Sizes come in XS through 3XL.

measurements to allow for ease of movement.
