Schedule Planning and Registration for Autumn Semester


The Dental Hygiene Program is a two-year, full-time course of study. You should expect to enroll in 15–18 semester hours each semester, as well as one semester hour in May session 2014. This is a rigorous course of study and you should plan your personal and work schedules accordingly. Dental hygiene classes are scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Registration for autumn semester begins in March. If you are currently enrolled at Ohio State, you should complete your registration using the course list below. Transfer students and students who are not currently enrolled will be scheduled by an academic advisor. The required dental hygiene courses for AU13 are:

DH 2110 (3) Oral Anatomy, Tooth Morphology and Occlusion M 10:30–11:30 a.m.

TH 1:35–2:30 p.m.
DH 2130 (2) Oral Radiography W 8:30–11:20 a.m.
TH 2:40–4:15 p.m.
DH 2140 (2) Oral Histology & Embryology M 8:10–9:05 a.m.
F 12:30–1:25 p.m.
DH 2150 (2) Periodontology M 9:15–10:20 a.m.
T 2:30–3:35 p.m.
DH 2220 (1) The Profession of Dental Hygiene TH 12:30–1:25 p.m.
DH 2240 (2) Oral Health and Disease Prevention T 12:30–2:20 p.m.
