Appointment, Associate Dean Clinical Administration and Patient Care


Dr. Fonda Robinson will join the college May 1, 2012.

 

Dr. Fonda Robinson has accepted the position of Associate Dean of Clinic Administration and Patient Care. She will join the College of Dentistry in that capacity May 1, 2012, pending a vote on tenure and rank by the college faculty, and approval from the Office of Academic Affairs and the Board of Trustees.  

Dr. Robinson currently serves as Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where she also has held the positions of Division Chief of Prosthodontics, Division Chief of Restorative Dentistry, and Assistant Dean for Clinical Operation.

Dr. Robinson holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Her specialty education includes a prosthodontics certificate from the Medical College of Georgia, where she also served as a faculty member. She has been a full-time private practitioner and a faculty member at the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry.

Her current faculty practice includes prosthodontics, and her research focuses on fixed prosthodontics, esthetic restorative materials, and dental ceramics. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

The College of Dentistry's faculty, staff, and students extend a warm welcome to Dr. Robinson, the next Associate Dean of Clinic Administration and Patient Care.
