Geriatric Dental Clinic
The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, with support from
OSU Cares, inaugurated the Geriatric Dental Clinic to
provide dental care for seniors (60 years and older). Comprehensive
dental services are provided to all patients. Many dental insurance
programs are accepted in addition to Medicaid.
The Geriatric Dental Clinic provides biannual oral examination and
radiography, preventive dentistry, including cleaning, prophy and
fluoride treatment, treatment of mouth diseases and oral conditions,
such as dry mouth, restorative dentistry (fillings), extraction of
unrestorable teeth, replacement of missing teeth with complete or
partial dentures.
