Qualifying candidates may be invited for interviews. Candidates will be notified
of their acceptance by May 1. Successful candidates (“Fellows”)
will be assigned a research mentor for their summer fellowship.
Other applicants: Fellows can apply for a second support period during
the summer quarter of the subsequent year. Applications will be selected
by the OSU College of Dentistry Research Committee based on a letter
of recommendation by the Fellow’s mentor and tangible outcomes.
Funding:
The College of Dentistry will support up to 5 fellowships per summer. First-year Fellows will receive a stipend of $1,500.
Second-year Fellows will receive a stipend of $2,000. An additional

those expenses are justified. However, non-OSU Fellows may not
