Research Interests
Dr. Chen's research focuses on end-of-life oral health care, oral health management for older adults with cognitive impairment, and clinical decision-making for geriatric patients with complex medical history. His work has been well supported by NIH since 2012, with a K23 Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award and two R21 awards.
