College Hosts Virtual Grand Opening

The College of Dentistry recently hosted a virtual event to celebrate the opening of its new facility, the Postle Hall expansion. The grand opening marked the completion of the college’s first major construction project in more than 60 years. The expansion includes 130,000 square feet of usable space with contemporary student dental clinics, the Delta Dental ambulatory surgery center, a faculty practice, and a central sterilization facility. A two-story atrium with an attached café offers a place for students and the college community to gather throughout the day. The expansion project also includes renovated space in the original Postle Hall structure that now provides high-tech classrooms for students and easily accessible administrative offices. The $95M project was supported by a capital appropriation from the State of Ohio and a funding commitment from The Ohio State University. View a video of the grand opening.
