Ehsan Azadani, DDS, MS, Publishes Top 10 Most-Cited Paper

Dr. Ehsan Azadani joined Ohio State’s College of Dentistry in 2018 as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry. In his role as a faculty member, he fulfills didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities in the division, and he also serves as a member of the dental team at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

With clinical and research interests in pediatric dental trauma and predictive modeling, Dr. Azadani has published scholarly articles on such topics as the relationship between traumatic dental and brain injuries in children, as well as best practices in the evaluation and management of pediatric dental injuries. His most recent publication, "Traumatic dental injuries in high school athletes in the United States of America from 2005 to 2020," was selected by the journal Dental Traumatology as one of its top 10 most-cited papers from 2022 through 2023.

Dr. Azadani is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and he is an alumnus of Ohio State's Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
