Scholarship Luncheon Presents Awards for Dental and Dental Hygiene Students

The college's annual Scholarship Luncheon is a celebration that brings together alumni and friends who have created scholarships, and some of the outstanding students who received those awards. This year's event on March 2 drew more than 70 attendees, including 44 alumni. 

Dean Trotman addressed the group and expressed her gratitude for the friends and alums who have provided scholarships that reduce students' debt. She said, "Throughout the 2023-24 academic year, 128 students in our college received scholarships that totaled $1,026,313. This shows that Ohio State’s Buckeyes set a standard for generosity. We are fortunate to have such loyal supporters who enable the college to advance in ways that make us a leader among dental schools across the nation. I offer my most sincere thanks for such outstanding partnership in the effort to help students achieve their professional dreams."
