Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Services
Full scope diagnostic imaging services
Our Services
Our Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Service includes both acquisition and interpretation of 2D and 3D dental imaging modalities.
We provide acquisition services for conventional intraoral and extraoral radiographs as well as cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) studies. An order form detailing the request and indication for acquisition of images must be completed and these are accessible by clicking the links below.
- Conventional intraoral radiographs, including periapical and bitewing images. Conventional extraoral radiographs, including panoramic, lateral cephalometric, and posteroanterior cephalometric radiographs
- Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) studies
We also provide interpretation services for conventional intraoral and extraoral radiographs as well as CBCT studies by a board-certified oral and maxillofacial radiologist. Our reports provide systematic reviews and summaries of significant radiographic findings, including those that are incidental or pathological. A basic interpretation will focus on any evident abnormal radiographic findings, with particular emphasis on provider’s clinical concern(s).
Typical indications may include implant fixture treatment planning, endodontic complications, maxillofacial trauma, and evaluation of teeth impactions, temporomandibular joints, paranasal sinuses, and pathology. Airway analysis reconstructed from CBCT images is available upon request.
