I chose the Dental Hygiene program at The Ohio State University because of its strong academic reputation, diverse clinical experiences, and commitment to community health. As a Muslim, my faith teaches that even a smile is charity, which inspires my passion for promoting oral health and spreading kindness through my work.

I want to work in a Pediatric Office after hygiene school.
I understand Korean fluently.
I try to be someone people feel comfortable being authentic around. - Question What do you enjoy doing outside of dental school?

I love traveling and experiencing diverse cultures; I have visited nine countries. I also enjoy reading and documenting my life through photography.
- Question What is your best advice for succeeding in the dental hygiene program?

My best advice is building a support system whether this be through classmates or friends outside the program. It has been incredibly helpful finding support through my classmates as we are all going through the same things. Being able to have study partners and people to enjoy hygiene school with has been very refreshing.
- Question What do you wish you knew as an incoming dental hygiene student?

As an incoming dental hygiene student, I was initially anxious to start the program because I knew it would be rigorous and demanding. However, I wish I had known just how supportive and encouraging the faculty would be throughout the journey. They are always willing to help, guide, and uplift you when challenges arise.
